Description
1. To evaluate symptoms of gastrointestinal dysfunction in people with PWP;
2. To identify and describe PWP oral health status;
3. To study the PwP nasal, oral and fecal microbiota;
4. To confirm the presence of, and to characterize, alpha-synuclein aggregates in gut biopsy specimens of PWP;
5. To study the PwP microbiome in gut biopsy;
6. In PwP, to correlate the burden of gastrointestinal dysfunction, oral health problems, microbiota dysbiosis and gut alpha-synuclein aggregates with disease duration, severity, motor and non-motor features, ongoing treatment, depression and QoL.
