Project Details
Description
Knowledge of interindividual genetic variability and protein activity at a
global and regional scale is a major factor for reaching a more efficient
early diagnosis to improve prognostic and treatment.
Our goal is to identify relevant disease-associated gene polymorphisms
and respective protein activity through the implementation of genotyping
and biochemical studies. Particularly, we aim to validate associations,
that have already been pointed out or new ones, between genetic
polymorphism
