Abstract
This article is based to a theoretical reflection on the changes in the nature and times of work in contexts of high pressure for performance, based on three occupational groups: journalists, nurses and police officers. We highlight the trends for increasing technological and digital competencies; control over work in the form of technosurveillance; scrutiny of the activity of the professionals; and the totalizing trace of work, in temporal and spacial terms, which generates an overlap between the professional and personal/family domains.
